To meet recent demands for "Glass" wine cellar trap doors we
have extended our range to include a crystal clear 20mm thick
cast acrylic trap door. These scratch resistant doors are
lighter than glass and have superior weight and strength
characteristics making them the perfect accompaniment for wine
cellars and transforming them in to showcase feature item(s).
Each doorset is custom made and can have either a gas strut self opening system that operates with a tee handle release or can have an electrically operated opening and closing system that can be operated via a hardwired switch or with a wireless remote control.
As with all clear infill door materials, acrylic is not impervious to external footwear. These doors should only be considered where they would be a feature item and not in situations that have heavy traffic thoroughfare.
