Steel Skids - with or without steps

Traditional timber beer skids which have seen better days can be replaced permanently by steel skids or skids and steps.

No more splinters or broken steps!

We custom manufacture each set to suit your particular drop, and include for your preferences:

Removable pair of hook on rails

Bolted in free standing skids with steps between - with or without case/cylinder chute to one side.

Cast in steel skids and steps assembly to replace traditional solid rollingway with timber rails brick steps.

Hinged or removable barrel/case chutes are available for where deliveries are made down pedestrian access stairways or fire escapes.

Finished in hammered gray enamel, the option to fit skids provides a more economic option then a cellar hoist and is generally acceptable to EHO's in the sub 8' - 0" (2.5m) high cellar.

Current prices start at £450 + VAT for a hook-on pair of skids (ex works)

Filling in Self-Survey Sheets - wont make you responsible.

Completion of a self-survey sheets is first to enable us to give you a price estimate.

Upon acceptance of the estimate, we will survey the drop and take all dimensions to ensure that the finished job both fits and works perfectly. It also helps enormously if you can send digital photos via email of your drop - open and closed.

Remember it is the dimensions between the walls that's important rather than the outside of the frame.

Survey sheet can be printed out directly from their site, completed and posted, faxed or emailed to us for a free estimate. Installation of our products assures that, and can only be done if we can work from a van for 3-4 hours close to the drop, during the working day without being moved on or ticketed by wardens, or if the van would pose a danger to other road users.
