Description / Styles / Types

Internal Easy Flaps

Internal easy flaps are generally made to dimesions to suit your requirements. If they are to accompany a cellar hoist, we can recommend styles which are prefered by the hoist manufacturers.

All internal easy flap doorsets are, self opening, latches are released from above flaps by a removable tee handle. Durbar (threadplate) finish, Altro to match finish and tray types can be specified.

The flange of the mounting frame is usually overlaped by the floor/floor covering, but it can be cast into rebates within a concrete slab. If rebates have not been cast, then you have the option to specify a frame, with an above ground level periferal flange, or if space allows. To fix angles within the opening, to form a ledge to support the frame, and have it cast or chemically fixed in.

Current prices start at £850 + VAT exc. works.

Flange Type Doorsets

Internal Easy Flaps with Premier Flange Mounting

Where contractors have cut or cast a hole in the floor for the flaps without providing a landing or rebate for the frame of the new flaps, we can provide easy flaps with a frame which overlaps the edge of the hole and fixes directly into the floor.

The only disadvantsge to this situation is 6mm (1/4") thick flange sits on top of the flushed level. Where no other alternative is available a flange doorset is a reliable option and can be surrounded by floor finish to compensate for the flange thickness.

Filling in Self-Survey Sheets - wont make you responsible.

Completion of a self-survey sheets is first to enable us to give you a price estimate.

Upon acceptance of the estimate, we will survey the drop and take all dimensions to ensure that the finished job both fits and works perfectly. It also helps enormously if you can send digital photos via email of your drop - open and closed.

Remember it is the dimensions between the walls that's important rather than the outside of the frame.

Survey sheet can be printed out directly from this site, completed and posted, faxed or emailed to us for a free estimate. Installation of our products assumes that, and can only be done if we can work from a van for 3-4 hours close to the drop, during the working day without being moved on or ticketed by wardens, or if the van would pose a danger to other road users.
