Deliveries of good into cellars can be made much safer with a set
of steel skids or a slide.
These can either be permanantly bolted or cast into the cellar "drop" area or hindged on to the side of a flight of basement / cellar stairs. They can save the outlay and ongoing cost of maintnance for a cellar hoist in a sub 2.5 metre deep cellar.
