Primerily designed to replace traditional beer drop trap door(s) for public houses, external "Easy Flaps". They are a hot dipped galvanised mild steel constrution for durability complimented by stainless steel furniture (Hinges and Latches etc) and weather resistant closed cell foam seals around all joints.

Rather than needing to lift the cellar trap door open "Easy Flaps" open automatically to a vertical position against a restraint chain when released from below and automatically lock in to position with a safety latch. This aids the prevention of uneccesary injury.

Slight downwards pressure once the safety latches are released will close and latch the doors. A Padlock is suppied and fits between each door on the centre joint for extra security.

Standard duty doors are a Pedestrain duty (5kg/m²) but have been tested to withstand motor vehicles without damage.

Maintenance is kept to a minimum and just cleaning to seals and a drop of light oil on the hinges is all that is required. NO NEED FOR COSTLY SERVICING BY ENGINEERS.

"Standard" sizes are available in stock in common width of 1100mm inside frame dimension and a range of lengths from 700mm to 1500mm in 100mm increments and an extra long one at 1650mm. Click here for sizes

The option of delivery only will be on a pallet with the trap door fully assembled for fitting by others with illustrated fitting instructions. Alternativly a deliver and install service is also available, costs depend upon loctaion and involvment.
